08/01/2016 Duración: 01h12minWelcome Luke (SparkyMoto) and The new Genuine G400C, Welcome to Luke; Here's the Ad we used to hire Johnny Chrome and Luke: -Motorcycle mechanic needed for 13 year old shop with locations on the east and west side of town. -You must have actual experience with vintage Japanese motorcycles and be able to prove it. -You will be asked to bring in your small tool box (rally box). -You will be asked to perform a basic mechanical service to our standards to assess your skills. -We are not looking for someone who "has always dreamed of working on Harleys" yes, you may work on the occasional HD, but the vast majority of bikes we work on are from Japan and other places. -Don't bother if your idea of a custom build is $5000 worth of accessories that you bolted on "all by yourself". -We are not looking for "Ricky Rocket" types, stretched swingarms and nitrous is great for the track, but it's not what we do. -If you just put a power commander on your 'Busa and now it&a

Clevelandmoto 105 - Removing Ethanol - Diabeetus - Military Bikes - Epoxy - Vintage Motorcycle Chat
08/01/2016 Duración: 01h28minRemoving Ethanol from gasoline, the proper way to clean a carb, and prepping for winter. http://www.ozebook.com/guzzi/3x3.htm Yep, Guzzi made Army Tractors. and they were 3 wheel drive too. Harley Davidson MT500 - that didn't become the official US military motorcycle The Kawasaki KLX250 that DID become the Official US Military Motorcycle Eventually they opted for the KLR650 designated as the M1030B1 - Gas powered (as god intended). Then in the interest of NOT having a bunch of bullet un-friendly gasoline on the battlefield, they decided to go Diesel. Despite every ass-hat on the planet thinking they want one (I'm sick of hearing it already) the project failed and they all essentially died a horrible death. So there...quit talking about it. It was such a disaster Hayes Diversified Technologies doesn't even exist anymore. Nuff said. If you want a diesel motorcycle, you're not fascinating or clever or the first person to think about it. Even these guys couldn't make it work. Diaphrag

ClevelandMoto 104 - Lithiums, Wheelies and Dustin coughs up a lung. Vintage motorcycle power talk
08/01/2016 Duración: 01h13minLithium Batteries - can they really take the POWER that your bike is putting out? Optimate makes an excellent device for checking your battery in both a running and cranking state, and it's not expensive. For $39 you can buy this guage and eliminate all doubt. If you want a Charger you can use on just about any battery, I strongly recommend the Optimate 4 for Non-commercial use. This will resurrect a battery that is on the way out. Charging at over 14.4 Volts ? Even for a little while? ClevelandMoto 103 - Love Affairs - Check Engine - Vintage Motorcycles and men who love them.
08/01/2016 Duración: 01h38minWe go around the room and each discuss a bike we love and a bike we hate and the reasons why for each. What do you do when you see the word URGENT along with a Check engine or Warning light? Johnny Chrome What is your FAVORITE motorcycle? He's sticking to what he actually owns - Any shovelhead 4 speed with a swingarm. It's a pretty versatile machine....you could do what you see up there or down here.... What does Johnny Chrome Hate? Anything from China apparently: But he also doesn't care much for the Yamaha GTS1000 with the trick center hub steering... Steve really, really loves the BMW R5 - Yep, we completely agree with you; But, he also LOVES himself a PC800 (so do I) What does Steve hate....? This oughta be good..... Honda CM400C - yep, for all the reasons listed...The CX650C is pretty awful too. Chris Smith cheated and brought a whole list Mrs. Smith grabbed off the internet...but what is worthy on the list is the Gilera Rondine Supercharged What do you hate, Chris? The Suzuki / Wank

ClevelandMoto 101 - Vintage motorcycle or vintage looking motorcycle -
08/01/2016 Duración: 01h15minIs riding a vintage bike for you or should you just go with a vintage looking bike.? Bay River Avon Skin Heads - McElfresh models it well. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/5158479073.html Rare (not many of them here) does not Equal Valuable. $8800 on Craigslist. This is our friend Gene, and he's got a damn good point about how something is built is more important than where it comes from. You should buy things from him. He's a straight up dude, and won't waste your time. http://scootersoriginali.com So, would you ride a Chinese Motorcycle? What if it looked like this? ClevelandMoto 100 - yeah we know there have been a few others, but this is the 100th "regular" podcast. Vintage Motorcycle cafe racer goodness
08/01/2016 Duración: 01h12minOur Aprilia Mana 850 GT gets the full adventure / touring treatment This is what happens when an unlimited budget happens to a Honda VT750 Shadow. Can I have a discount? Ram Mount or Scam Mount? Which would you choose? The Ram Mount with the bracket that will mount it to the top of your master cylinder AND the clamps for your handlebars (so it goes BOTH ways!) $50 or so. GreatShield Bicycle Mount for your Phone / GPS around $20 or so. Since I'm not willing to replace ANOTHER iphone, I'm going with the Ram Mount. Scala Rider? Not here, I've been using this JBL/LG bluetooth wireless headset for a few months now and I really like it, Even Siri approves and seems to work well. No learning curve and it works with every helmet I own. Above is the $400 Bell Bullitt This is the Biltwell Gringo S $200 - Guess which one is a LOT quieter. Yep, those 4 little button shaped vents on the Bullitt make a ton of noise. Support the showRemember folks...Ride Fast and Take Chances! check out our Youtube cha
