In advertising, illusion is king. Whether it's selling hamburgers or lifestyle influencers, every image is doctored, filtered, airbrushed or manipulated for the greatest effect, all for the sake of projecting the "Good Life". In Matthew 16, Jesus has a completely opposite conversation with His disciples as he pitches what it will look like to continue following Him. The life of following Christ is not easy, beautiful or sugar-coated. But, it is the greatest life you can imagine.

We are bombarded with questions every single day. In many cases we don't even notice how many questions we face. Some are no big deal and don't have a whole lot of lasting effect, but there are some life-altering questions we must answer... "Do you take this person to be your lawfully wedded spouse?" Now that is a heavy question that can alter your life! In Matthew, Jesus asks His disciples a question we all must answer. He asks, "Who do you say that I am?" In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at why this question is the most important question ever asked that we must answer.

When Jesus gets involved, things change. Jesus healed and performed many miracles through the Gospel accounts. In this account, we see Jesus heal a paralyzed man who had no hope to walk. We see some life-changing truths from this account which we must apply to all our lives to help us see that spiritually, we are all lame and paralyzed with no hope apart from Jesus.

Continuing the message from the previous week, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the last three ways we are to serve others with the freedom we've been given in Christ.

Galatians 6 is a call to be others centered. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at what it looks like to serve others.

Continuing a look at Galatians 5, we see the difference between freedom to be consumed by the flesh and freedom to walk in the Spirit.

A look at John 2 where Jesus turns water into wine. Christ has the power to turn even our weakest efforts into miracles of His glory.

True freedom is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. But, what do we do with the freedom we find in Him? Freedom is not just a gift. It is a holy calling that must be respected and stewarded properly. In Galatians 5, the Apostle Paul explains what freedom really looks like, how it acts, and what it does.

Freedom is a vast concept. Ask ten people to explain freedom and you'll probably get ten different variations. What is freedom? Is freedom a political state? Is it an ideological state? Is it a philisophical state? How do I get freedom? What if freedom is not something to win or gain, but something to be found? Jesus told us where real freedom is found in John 8.

1 Corinthians 13 is commonly known as, "The Love Chapter." Love is the running theme of this powerful chapter in Paul's letter to the Corinthian believers. But, Love is the running theme of the entire Bible. It is the Love of God given to us through Christ which we must share with one another. Jesus said, we will be known by our love. In a modern, cynical, skeptical society ruled by selfish ambition, it is very easy to lose our focus on the pursuit of love. Student Pastor, Ryan Blackburn, takes us through this chapter to recalibrate why we're here.

Persecution is a reality – and more and more believers face the truth that following Christ is costly indeed. For that reason, we must be praying for our global brothers and sisters who deal daily with opposition from oppressive governments, religious leaders, and even angry family members. In this message, Minister of Discipleship Jason Lail introduces us to some alarming facts about persecution around the world and how we as a church can pray for our brothers and sisters.

Betrayal. Most of us are familiar with it, but none of us want to be known for it. For Judas Iscariot, unfortunately, this is his tragic legacy. Judas walked and ministered side by side with Jesus the Savior for 3 and a half years, yet in the end, was unchanged by Christ. His tragic example teaches us an important lesson of the importance of having a genuine relationship with Christ.

In the final message from the Gospel To Every Home Series, we look at Acts 8 to see the compelling components of telling the Gospel story.

In the sixth message of the Gospel to Every Home series, we look at Romans 6 to see how sin produces death, but the gift of salvation gives life through Jesus Christ. The Gift of Salvation is the most perfectly practical, sentimental and extravagant gift the world will ever know.

In the fifth installment of the Gospel to Every Home Series, we look at the account of Jesus' ministry to the Samaritan Woman. We learn much about how the Gospel reaches beyond prejudice, racism and sexual discrimination. To faithfully share the Gospel, we must listen well, care for the whole being and share truth.

If you've ever shared your faith with someone, you know that the responses you receive can be diverse. In this message, guest speaker, Ed Goodman, looks at the responses people often give to the invitation to receive Christ.

The Gospel is vital and powerful to change lives. The Gospel also provides security in a dangerous world. In Acts 16, we see the world crash down three different times and people react in three different ways. Only those secure in Christ could manage. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at what the search for security requires, what it leads to, and what it gets you.

Jesus said His followers are the "light of the world." The church of Jesus has been established to be a lighthouse of the Gospel, but how bright is that light shining in our community? In the second message of the Gospel to Every Home Series, we look at the Simple Method, the Clear Mandate and the Correct Mindset of Jesus' evangelistic ministry we as a church must adopt to reach our community today.

In the opening message from the "Gospel to Every Home" series, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at what it takes for the church to have a heart change that propels us beyond the pews into the streets with the Gospel.

Easter Sunday Message. When Jesus appeared to His Disciples the first time after the resurrection, He pronounced peace to them. The resurrection of Christ brings a peace unlike anything else offered.
