God is the ultimate giver of gifts. He initiates the gift, only intends to give with no hidden agenda, and he gives himself—laying down his life that whosoever believes may have everlasting life.

The incredible gift of Grace works by meeting us where we are, not bending to the demands of the law, and never condemning us! Grace empowers us to go and live a better way.

Zacchaeus’s response to encountering Jesus illustrates Christianity. Christianity isn’t about having resolve, resisting, or reacting to the world. Rather, watch Jesus love you, and respond.

Sin likes to talk and threaten us with disgrace, distance from God, and death. But when you’ve put your faith in Jesus, you are graced, God is near, and you will live forever in eternity with him. Sin’s threats are empty.

You are so loved by God, and there’s no end to his unfailing goodness. He’s your loving father, designer, and priest. He has set you free!

When you feel like giving up, sit in God’s love for you, stand in your righteousness, and let offenses go. He still has grand and good plans for your life.

Life is full of possibilities for where to invest our time and energy, but the what truly matters is being in awe of Jesus and walking through life with him!

It’s human nature to look for formulas, but formulaic living and unmet expectations exhaust us. Jesus promises us rest if walk with him; it’s an unforced, everyday journey.

Jesus’s first miracle was turning water into wine. He takes ordinary, everyday, average things in our lives and supernaturally transforms them into something extraordinary.

We complicate our faith when we think we need to double our own efforts. While not meaning to, we think we need to save ourselves. But what we need is Jesus.

Everything we need to be completely pleasing to God has been miraculously given to us by Jesus. You are spiritually complete.

God wants to meet us where we are, not where we think we are supposed to be. His only agenda and plan is to be together with us where we are. Being together is the goal. Allow yourself to be honest with yourself and God, and find true freedom in his love.

Confession is about healing, not salvation. You’re already forgiven and complete in your standing with Jesus, and he’s holding all things together.

When our plans are shipwrecked like Paul on Malta, God still has a plan—his is always about people. He’s never surprised, he’s always in control, and he works all things into good.

We often treat prayer as though it’s a mere spiritual discipline, but prayer is an act of love where you’re heard, God makes things happen, and you make a connection with your creator!

We complicate our Christianity by focusing on how we love Jesus rather than how he loves us. He’s chosen us, he’s our friend, and we’re going to bear fruit. Abide in him.

When we stress and strive, we feel separated from God, who designed our relationship to be organic and intimate. We can’t see our futures or understand everything in this life, but we can trust the one who holds it all!

When we add traditions, performance, or “wisdom” to our connection to God, we over complicate things! He’s the vine, we are the branches, and our relationship is designed to be intimate and organic!

Soul fatigue comes when we’re dealing with a performance lifestyle, facing personal struggles, or battling principalities and powers. But God is super accessible, loves you, and wants to give you rest!

Why does the famous storm stop after they get in the boat? The storm isn’t about the circumstances we feel; nor is the boat our true source of safety! God relates to storms differently, and Jesus is going to reveal himself in new ways!
