When we feel stuck in life, Jesus wants to turn our worry into worship. He is our prize, he is our perspective, and he is our peace.

Jesus is “putting new wine in new wineskins.” He’s introducing his church to a life of surrender instead of striving, to practicing our faith rather than programming, and to loving the unloveable.

We can find a way to keep moving forward in painful seasons if we decide to ask the question: “What has Jesus done for me?” What he’s already done is more than enough. Let us count his ways and respond!

Sometimes the journey God calls us to begins with a place of separation. And in that place, he will sustain us, surprise us, and shield us.

Jesus is a change specialist! He can bring growth even when it seems impossible. But we can’t change in our own strength. Alterations happen when we’re willing to lay things down at “the altar.”

We are called to go where Jesus goes, sit where Jesus sits, and hunger for what Jesus hungers for. We are called to be a church that looks like Heaven.

Everyone goes through a time of famine, where our faith is tested. God reminds us through the story of Naomi that he is always with us. God is a restorer and what he has spoken to us, he will bring to pass.

Everyone gathered at the well that day was shocked. God’s character is majestic. His scale is unfathomable. He is beyond us, and he will surprise us.

Let us follow Jesus into the territory where he “had to” go: the traditions of men. Revering traditions as truth can keep us from loving people, and Jesus tells us that the way the world will know we’re his followers is by our love.

Jesus constantly tells us the truth, but it’s always motivated by love. He never uses condemnation. By focusing on how much we are loved by Jesus, we will learn to love one another!

Going to this well again, we will need worship. True worship is a spiritual activity, and it changes us. Worship transforms our hearts, perspectives, and priorities.

Outside the city gates, Jesus paid the ultimate price for all of humanity. Will we, too, leave our comfort zones, leave our security, and go where Jesus goes—toward the pain, sharing freedom with all?

Every person at this ancient well experiences repentance: a view change. Jesus is there; he changes our thoughts, perspectives, and directions.

Jesus is inviting us again to an ancient well where he reveals himself and changes our views. He’s not just what we want, he’s what we need.

At a well in Samaria, Jesus teaches us to deeply love people who aren’t like us. He offers us living water, which produces righteousness, peace, and joy and will sustain us as we stand for justice.

We can truly change, we can win the battle over our thoughts, by consistently and deliberately renewing our mind. When we fix our attention on God, he’ll do a miracle in our minds!

Racism is the hating of your own kind, for we’re all created in God’s image. Jesus’s compassion will move us toward people not like us, but while comparison and envy lead us, we’ll never go where we’re supposed to. We must be stunned by his love, listen, and ask questions.

Jesus loves you, and he knows you. His love for you has nothing to do with your performance or status and everything to do with him. God loves us all so much—every man, woman, boy, and girl—that he gave his only son.

The forgiveness Jesus offers us is a gift that cannot be earned, that forever changes our lives. It provides a peace and joy that transcends life’s circumstances, that we can share with others!

Circumstances oftentimes impact our happiness, but we can have a joy that transcends circumstances with Jesus!
