Bears guard Kyle Long posted a picture of himself on Twitter wearing a neck brace at the hospital late Tuesday night after having neck surgery to alleviate pain. Chicago takes on the Browns this Sunday. Cleveland is looking not to have an 0-16 season. The 4-10 Bears are 2-5 at Soldier Field. The Bulls announced they have waved guard Kay Felder. Chicago is home tonight against the Orlando Magic. Bulls have won six in a row and are now 9-20 on the season. The 11-20 Magic are on a five game skid. Richard Panik might be back in the lineup tomorrow when the Blackhawks face Dallas. Panik hasn’t scored a goal in 21 games and is eager to get back into the rink. Chicago is tied with the Wild and the Stars with 39 points in the central division, all just 7 points away from leaders Nashville and St. Louis.

Nikola Miratic and Kris Dunn both had 22 points as the Bulls topped the 76ers 117-115 for their sixth consecutive win. Seven players had double digit numbers as Chicago improves to 9-20 on the season. Justin Holiday finished all of his 20 points in the first half and Bobby Portis finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds.   The Cubs met with free agent right hander Hugh Darvish on Monday. NL Central champions already signed Tyler Chatwood and relievers Steve Sechek and Brandon Morrow.   Blackhawks visit Dallas on Thursday. Chicago is on a five game winning streak and are one point ahead of the Stars in the central division standings.

Two touchdown passes and no turnovers for Matt Stafford as the Lions beat the Bears 20-10 on Saturday night. The Bears have lost six of seven sealing a third season in a row with double digit losses under John Fox’s leadership. Mitch Trubisky had a season high with 31 completions, 46 attempts with 314 yards yet had three interceptions.   Patrick Kane had a pair of goals and Corey Crawford had 27 saves as Chicago beat the Minnesota Wild 4-1. It was the Blackhawks fifth consecutive win. Ryan Hartman also had a goal breaking a 17 game drought dating back to October 28th. Tommy Wingels had a gaol with a short handed empty netter.   Bulls are home tonight against the 76ers. Chicago is now 8-20 on the season, they’ve won five games in a row.

The Blackhawks visited the Winnipeg Jets last night and won handley 5–1. Patrick Kane and Nick Schmaltz had goals helping Chicago extend their season winning streak to four games. 20 saves in net for Corey Crawford. The Cubs cut a two year deal with Steve Cishek. The 31 year old right hander spent last season between the Mariners and Rays. The Bulls Face the Bucks tonight in Milwaukee. They are 14th in the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls out played the Jazz last night 103-100. Nikola Mirotic scored 29 points last night and Kris Dunn had a clutch jumper with 22 seconds remaining.Mirotic made 11 of 18 shots also had 9 rebounds in his best game since returning from his injuries from the beginning of the season. Robin Lopez scored 16 points helping the Bulls to a 7-20 record on the season and their fourth consecutive win. The Blackhawks looking to keep their three game streak alive when they visit Winnipeg tonight. Chicago is 15-11-5 this season and the Jets are 18-8-5

Reliever Brandon Morrow agreed to a two year deal with the Cubs. He was one of the top set up men in the National League last season. Going 6-0 with a 2.06 ERA and two saves in 45 appearances for the pennant winning Dodgers. Morrow could become a closer for the Cubs if Wade Davis leaves on a free agent deal. Patrick Kane had the overtime winning goal for Chicago when they beat the Panthers for their third consecutive win. Corey Crawford had 35 saves in goal. Former Bears wide receiver Devin Hester announced his retirement from the NFL after eleven seasons. He’ll probably be heading to the Hall of Fame. He was a three time All-Pro and a three time Pro-bowler.

Chicago blew out the Celtics 108-85 last night. Niko Mirotic with 24 points Bobby Portis with a career high of 23 points. Kyrie Irving was out of this game due to bruised left quadriceps. The Bulls still have the league’s worst record but they pulled off their third consecutive win against the Eastern Conference leader.   The Blackhawks on a two game winning streak when they host the Panthers tonight. Florida is coming off of a 2-1 overtime victory over Detroit last night.

Third period goals by Tommy Wingels, Artem Anisimov, and Nick Schmaltz lead the Blackhawks to victory over the Coyotes 3-1 Sunday. Corey Crawford had 31 saves in net. Patrick Kane had a pair of assists to help Chicago in their second straight win since a five game loosing skid.   The Bears ripped the Bengals on Sunday 33-7. Jordan Howard had 147 rushing yards and pair of touchdowns as 4-9 Chicago drops Cincinnati to 5-8. The Bears piled up a season high of offensive 482 yards. Mitch Trubisky threw for one touchdown and ran in for another in his best game of the season. 

The Chicago Cubs have added to their rotation, agreeing to thirty eight million dollar three year contract with right hander Tyler Chatwood. Chicago is also seeking Japanese outfielder and pitcher Shohei Ohtani. As well as retaining Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta along with closer Wade Davis, both are free agents. The Chicago Bulls in action tonight when they visit the Hornets in Charlotte. The Bulls looking to snap a nasty ten game loosing skid. Blackhawks are looking to get a win against the Buffalo Sabres tonight at the United Center after a fifth straight loss. Chicago has dropped to sixth out of seven teams in NHL’s central division. Last night in the NFL, Matt Bryant of the Falcons broke a 17-17 tie with a 52 yard field goal with 3:49 left in the game. Then with a leaping interception Deion Jones with a 1:25 remaining in the game secured the 20-17 victory over the Saints.  

Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky is confident the team will be surging forward next year. The team’s confidence was gutted last week when Bears former kicker Robbie Gould won the game for the 49ers with a last minute field goal. Shake ups on the roster from top down are expected. The Bulls lost to the Indianapolis Pacers yesterday 98-96. Indy is 14-11 now on their season. Pacers getting 27 points out of Victor Oladipo and 17 out of forward Bojan Bogdanovic. Chicago only got 18 points out of guard Kris Dunn, 16 from Robin Lopez, and 15 points out of Denzel Valentine. The Bulls take on the Hornets Friday.

Big upset in college basketball yesterday when Notre Dame fell to Ball State 80-77. The Irish take their second loss of the season with a record of 7-2 so far this season. The Bulls are on the road tonight in Indianapolis when they face the Pacers. Finally some good news for Chicago, Zach LaVine will make his Bulls debut in January. He was brought over in the Jimmy Butler trade with Minnesota. The Chicago Bears had some tough news yesterday. They have placed Kyle Long on injured reserve. The right guard aggravated his shoulder during the game against San Francisco, Tom Compton is expected to replace him when the Bears take on Cincinnati.

The Cavaliers won their twelfth game in a row as Kevin Love brought team highs of 24 points and 13 rebounds in a routing of the Bulls 113-91 in Chicago. LeBron James had 23 points he made 3 of the Cavs thirteen three pointers. The Bulls at the leagues worst with a current record of 3-19 with nine games lost in a row. The Steelers have their best start since 2004 when they came back in the fourth quarter against the Bengals with a 23-20 victory. Chris Boswell had the winning field goal kick bringing Pittsburgh’s record to 10-2. The 3-9 Bengals will host the Bears this Sunday. The Blackhawks will visit the Capitals tomorrow night. Chicago is looking snap a four game skid and the Caps have won two in a row.

Robbie Gould nailed a 24 yard field goal in the final seconds of the game when San Francisco defeated the Bears 15-14. Gould hit all five field goal attempts with his first visit back to Soldier Field since the Bears cut him before the start of the 2016 season. Chicago native Jimmy Garoppolo completed 26 of 37 passes with an interception, it was his first start for the 49ers. The 3-9 Bears lose their fifth in a row and head coach John Fox fell to 12 and 32 in the three seasons he has been at the helm. The losing streak is now up to four games when the Blackhawks lost to the Kings at the United Center 3-1 last night. 24 stops in net for LA’s Johnathan Quick, Johnathan Toews had the only goal for Chicago. The Bulls are in action tonight at home against the Cavaliers. Chicago is looking to snap an eight game loosing skid while Cleveland is riding an eleven game winning streak.

The Denver Nuggets took care of the Bulls last night with a 111-110 victory. The Bulls are 3-17 on the season. Chicago did out score Denver in the first period of play but the Nuggets pulled through for their twelfth win of the season. Lauri Markkanen led the Bulls with 20 points in thirty two minutes and Robin Lopez had 20 points in thirty four minutes. Five players on the Bulls had double digit figures. They face the Kings in Sacramento tonight. The Bears will host the 49ers Sunday at Soldier Field. Jimmy Garoppolo is making his first start of the season for San Francisco.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will make his first start of the season when he leads the 49ers against the Bears this Sunday. Chicago is 3-8 this season and are trying to snap a four game losing skid. San Francisco is 1-10 this season and are winless on the road. The Bears are bringing back linebacker Lamarr Houston claiming him off waivers from the Texans. The Chicago Bulls are in Denver tonight. The Bulls are 3-16 this season they’ve dropped 6 in a row. Nikola Mirotic says that his facial fractures have completely healed from his fight with Bobby Portis in the preseason. However he has been ruled out in tonight’s game against the Nuggets and Friday’s match up against Sacramento. The 12-8-3 Blackhawks face the Dallas Stars tonight at the United Center.

Things got chippy in Monday’s Blackhawks 7-3 victory over Anaheim at the United Center. The NHL fining rightwing Patrick Kane five thousand for slashing Anaheim’s Nick Richie. Devon Booker scored 33 points for the Suns as Phoenix wins over the Bulls 104-99. Chicago has a league worst record with 3-16, they’ve lost six games in a row. Justin Jolliday had six 3 pointers on his way to 25 points for the Bulls. Kris Dunn had 24 points hitting all 3 point attempts he also chipped in with 8 assists. Head coach Fred Hoydberg said that Zach LeVine won’t be making his regular game debut till later in the month of December. LeVine has been out with a knee injury. Nikola Mirotic did not play last night but will be traveling with the team to Denver Thursday. He’s not been on the court since his preseason fight with Bobby Portis. He said he wants the team to choose between the two players.

Blackhawks defeated the Ducks last night. Alex DeBrincat lead Chicago to victory with a hat trick. The rookie has 9 goals, 12 points in 11 games this month. 25 saves in net for Corey Crawford as Chicago improves to 12-8-3.   The 3-14 Chicago Bulls looking to snap a 5 game slump. They’re home tonight against the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix just 7-14 on the season, they’ve dropped three in a row and have only won three of their last ten games.   No Update on Bears guard Josh Sitton who left during Sunday’s loss with a concussion. Chicago is getting ready for this Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

Carson Wentz threw three touchdown passes to give the Eagles a 31-3 victory over the Bears Sunday for their ninth consecutive win. Philadelphia’s defense shut quarterback Mitch Trubisky and the 3-8 Bears, holding them to zero first downs in the first half and just one hundred and forty yards in the whole game. The Bears became the first not to score a first down in the first half of the game since the Chiefs against the Raiders in week fifteen in 2012. Chicago will host the 1-10 49ers this coming Sunday.   Goran Dragic with twenty four points for the Heat when they shutdown the Bulls Sunday 100-93. Chicago drops to 3-14 on the season. They’ve now lost five in a row and will host Pheonix this Tuesday.   Blackhawks are home tonight against the Anaheim Ducks. Chicago are winners of six of their last ten games. Anaheim however is trying to snap a three game losing skid. Corey Crawford helped the Blackhawks win 4-1 over Florida Saturday.

Kyle Kuzma had 22 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter when they dug out of a nineteen point deficit, beating the Bulls 103-94. Kris Dunn had 12 points and 6 assists in his second start of the season for Chicago which visits Utah tonight. The key acquisition in the Jimmy Butler trade is targeting a mid to late December return to lineup. Bulls guard Zach Lavigne getting the go ahead to have full contact during practice. The Blackhawks have a tough task tonight in Tampa Bay. With a 15-3-2 record the Lightning are tied for the NHL’s most wins and goals scored. Chicago is looking to continue their two game winning streak.

The Bears waved kicker Connor Barth and singed former Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos. The move came after Barth failed to make a potential game tying field goal which lead to a 27-24 loss against the Detroit Lions this past Sunday. Head Coach John Fox believes that Leonard Floyd has avoided a torn ACL but also acknowledged that he’s going to miss some time. The Bears are awaiting tests to see wether or not to place Floyd on injured reserves. The Blackhawks take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night. Tampa is 15-3-2 on the season. They’re tied for the NHL lead for both wins and goals scored. The Bulls visit the Lakers tonight which is the only NBA game tonight. Chicago is coming off a 113-105 loss against the Phoenix Suns this past Sunday. The Bulls are 3-11 this season. They are fourteenth out of fifteen teams in the eastern conference. The Lakers come in at 7-10 record overall at home.
