Como cierre al repaso que le hemos dado este año en nuestro programa a algunos de los grandes discos publicados en 1967, pensabamos que era ideal culminar 2017 con el gran acontecimiento de aquel año, el Monterey International Pop Festival. En este pasaje incluimos los míticos conciertos de The Who y The Jimi Hendrix Experience, en sus primeras actuaciones multitudinarias ante el público americano, y la de la banda más icónica de la escena hippi, The Mamas & The Papas.
