How to Stop Being a People Pleaser & Why It's So Bad for You.   I was passionate about this episode cause I see so many people that give themselves away so cheaply. They willfully take their limited time and sacrifice to the whims and wants of others. They draw to themselves people that are energy vampires, and time abusers ever playing the victim with shame and fear. Breaking the habits of people pleasing requires courage, commitment, and the ability to put yourself first spiritually, mentally, and physically. To intentionally not allow others to come first. This is a very tough cycle to break, and one that requires extreme self-awareness to break the chains of low self esteem and "I'm not good enough syndrome."   We all want to get our self worth externally; after all being disillusioned by the praise and complaints of others is to see our identity through them.
