If sadness, grief, disappointment, or anger come up, our first instinct may be to want to turn away from the discomfort of the emotion. When that "piece of you" is activated within you, it is carrying an emotion that wants to heard, seen, and when ready to process it to complete the e-motion cycle. Once that is done then you can allow new energy in - like peace, harmony, etc. We can have non-beneficial patterns and programs that want to stomp out or deny how we are feeling
