This product is a compound with 62% alcohol as the active ingredient designed to be swabbed on the outer portion of the nostril with included swabs or directly with a applicator-dispenser. The product claims universal sustained nasal decolonization without antibiotics, iodine, or a prescription. Because the claims made for this product categorize it as a drug, it cannot be marketed without an FDA review of data proving its safety and effectiveness.  This has never occurred.
