It is a Graded Stakes loaded card at Saratoga highlighted by the Midsummer Derby - the $1 million G1 Travers Stakes that will feature the pre-Derby favorite Tiz the Law in a race offering top tier points to get into the Kentucky Derby. The undercard is very strong with the G1 $300,000 Win and You're In Ballerina: G1 $300,000 Longines Test: G3 $200,000 Troy and if time allows Friday's G2 Saratoga Special, a major national test for 2-year-olds. Bob Railbird Roberts is a home grown Cleveland guy who covered the beat for decades for the Cleveland Plain Dealer at Thistledown. The track will play host to five $100,000 tests for Buckeye-breds that often determines divisional champions.
