The new annual Old Friends magazine is fresh off the presses and the farm's founder Michael Blowen will join us to reflect on some of the racing greats that passed in 2018 and what they meant to the farm. He will also tell us about some of the new retirees at the Georgetown, Ky. facility for 2019. Old Friends also offers unique gifts for those Holiday horse lovers that can be found nowhere else. Michael will tell us about some of the limited editions and how you can get them in time as a gift under the tree - or in the barn. The Fair Grounds will feature the top Louisiana-breds on a card that has seven stakes, with a minimum of $100,000 purses. Ryan Martin calls New Orleans home during the meet as the track's publicist among other duties. Ryan has been following these fields and will join John with some handicapping insights. They will key on the Louisiana Champions Day Classic; Ladies Sprint; Lassie; Sprint and Turf Stakes.
