Winning Ponies

Patricia McQueen is an award-winning photographer, journalist and lifelong horse racing fan. She fell in love with the sport as a pre-teen watching Secretariat on television in 1973 and never looked back. Patricia was on Winningponies recently, but she and John had so many Secretariat stories they barely scratched the surface and ran out of time. This will be Part 2 and will include her charitable efforts supporting the industry. Popular handicapper / writer Rich Eng will join in for the handicapping portion of the show. The trail to the Triple Crown will have a trifecta of point races to get in the Derby with the Grade 2 $350,000 Holy Bull Stakes from Gulfstream Park; the Grade 3 $250,000 Withers Stakes at Aqueduct and the Grade 2 Robert B. Lewis at Santa Anita.
