First guest is Hall of Fame Jockey Chris McCarron who just won the Lafitt Pincay Jr. Award and will receive the honor in ceremonies at Del Mar Aug. 21. For the first time, the Pincay Award will be part of a special relationship with one of racing's most important charities—the Winners Foundation, which for more than 30 years has aided those in racing adversely affected by substance abuse and-or mental health issues. He will be talking to us from Del Mar. He was a hero of mine, but since he moved to Lexington we have become friends. Rich Eng will be our guest handicapper. We go back to the days when he was the Director of Publicity at Turfway Park and he would bring me in as part of the Press Team for the Spiral Stakes. Del Mar is in the spotlight this Saturday.
