Susan Salk is the creator and writer for the blog Off-Track Thoroughbreds.com, a site dedicated to telling success stories of ex- Thoroughbred racehorses in new careers, and of the people, on and off the track, who help them. She started the blog nearly four years ago after previously working as a marketing writer for Northeastern University in Boston, and before that, as a newspaper reporter for dailies and weeklies in Greater Boston and New Hampshire. She will take us through her journey as a reporter and blogger and how she developed a love for the thoroughbred horses. In the second segment Dan Tordjman will join John in 'capping the $400,000 Grade 2 Holy Bull Stakes and the $200,000 Grade 2 Forward Gal Stakes from Gulfstream Park; the $200,000 Grade 3 Santa Monica Stakes at Santa Anita, and the $400,000 Ladies Classic from Sam Houston.
