Global News: Calgary police investigate, recommend provincial review of domestic homicide This after a mother and wife was murdered near a Calgary elementary school. Her husband was found dead nearby. Police had been to the family residence several times and had had repeatedly charged the husband who was then released by the courts on a 'no contact' order. Criminal law professor Doug King says "a restraint order, a no-contact order was placed on him. He violated it twice. And each time he had violated it, he would have been before a judge again to look at his release.
