Our first film without Cage as the main star, and our first major disagreement! Kick-Ass: clever, feminist morality tale or atonal, ultraviolent mess? Cam, Marielle and Nicky have differing views about the 2010 superhero action/comedy/drama. Nicolas Cage is not the star of this movie, but he steals it and arguably it is all about him. And, is it Kick-ASS, or Kick-ARSE? Should a preteen girl be fighting and shouting obscenities? Who is this movie even about?
