FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell will join North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper for a press briefing to provide an update on local and federal response and recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene. Helene caused a major flooding disaster in the Carolinas. The federal government has declared the western North Carolina mountains a major disaster area. For emergencies, dial 911.
