Today, we look at the release of more prisoners to help ease overcrowding in jails. The government is releasing 1,100 more prisoners early, in the second wave of emergency releases since September. It comes as the Justice Secretary announced a review of sentencing with a focus on new forms of punishment outside of jails, including a form of house arrest.
