Measles vaccine has saved more lives over the past 50 years than any other vaccine.  Measles is highly contagious and there is no treatment for it.  Many people say, “big deal…some skin blotches.”  It is a big deal since measles can trigger life-threatening pneumonia, seizures, and brain infections called encephalitis.
