Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has been described as the now de facto PM of Canada. She is among Western premiers demanding a better equalization deal from Ottawa as the equalization fund hits $26.2 billion. Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia will receive not one cent of those monies to which the three provinces have contributed significantly.  Justin Trudeau will also face a national caucus on Wednesday as more Liberal MPs are demanding he resign as prime minister.
