Tonight Kim Kolton and I will be seeking justice for Jarred Wolfe. The 19-year-old died in Santa Rosa County, Florida on October 5, 2007. At 11 am he was brought to the hospital already deceased by a 26-year-old woman he had partied with the previous night. The woman told hospital staff and later the police that she and Jarred had spent the night in his truck parked in a secluded spot on the farm owned by Jarred’s parents. She said they had fallen asleep and when she awoke in the morning Jarred was unresponsive. Confused, rather than calling 9-1-1 on an available cell phone, she drove past Jarred’s house and on to the home of his 29-year-old cousin, who had been partying with them the previous evening. Unable to get anyone to answer the door, she drove Jarred to the hospital about six miles away. The death was ruled an accident caused by multiple drug intoxication (methadone and ethanol).
