With Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate defending conservative Republicans efforts to defund ObamaCare it's important to remember that he is taking a stand based on principles. It's a stand that many say is unpopular, despite the fact that most polls show the majority of Americans do not want ObamaCare. It's a stand that many in his own party do not want him to take. It is a stand to protect the American people from more government intrusion into our daily lives and the further erosion on our constitutional protections.
