Meet Our Guests: Author Deborah Rose:  Deborah has been in law enforcement for the past 10.5 years, (8 years as a police officer and 2 ½ corrections officer), and has received extensive training in the areas of corrections, narcotics enforcement, and police patrol. She was a member of the Northwest Task Force, which covered the 35th, 14th, 39th, 5th districts. Ms. Grooms has been decorated 2 times for outstanding performance in the line of duty. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management from Bellevue University. Ms. Grooms is a 3rd Degree Black Belt. In her spare time, she loves to travel, attend networking events, and motivate others though sharing her story. She currently works for the Philadelphia Police Department and in training to become
