Sims is living proof of this. A true survivor, Tamika is founder and creator of the Self-Assured Woman ™ Movement. Tamika survived a physically, sexually and emotionally abusive relationship of eight years. It was her passion to see others rescued from the pain of abuse that led to the release of her debut novel “The Plus Factor.” Her efforts were rewarded in 2012 with her receiving the “BWABC Literacy Rocks! Author of the Year Award.”  In 2016, Tamika is a recipient of the Woman of Success Award. A true builder at heart, Tamika enjoys helping others identify their unique voice.
