Meet Our Guest: Lizz Goins- Turner as we discuss her upcoming Film " ROOM 1103" . Lizz Goins-Turner is the mother of 3, a grandmother of 7 and the wife of Harlie Turner.  She was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, but she now made Key West, Florida her home. She is an activist for domestic violence awareness and Founder of the Not Looking Back Foundation.  Mrs. Turner has traveled from Jacksonville, FL to Tallahassee multiple times to speak with the State House and Senate about issues surrounding domestic violence.  She is also a Playwright, Director and Producer of multiple stage plays surrounding real life issues, such as "My Brotha-My Sista", "Every Eye That's Closed Ain't Sleep" "It Won't Happen Again" “Slander Vs Truth”  “Treasures In The Dark” & “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled.” She has toured throughout the Midwest and Southeast coast with some of her productions.
