Over the last few weeks, I’ve taken a step back and realized that my kids are doing extremely well for themselves…and they don’t need me. So, I rewrote my will and decided that I would rather spend my money to make my remaining years amazing rather than put it away for them…especially since they don’t need it. My kids have seen the plans I’ve been making, and they know that things like trips and cruises aren’t cheap. They’ve voiced their concerns, but it’s becoming clear that their fears don’t have anything to do with my well-being…they’re worried about what’ll be left for them.
