Our concept of God influences our relationship with Him. Our misconceptions of Him and His intentions can lead us astray. If our perceptions of God are wrong, or skewed, or distorted, we will feel betrayed and abandoned and are in danger of becoming bitter against Him.  Bitterness against God can cause us to despise our birthright as Esau did who sold his divine privilege for a bowel of soup. If we do not understand or cherish our birthright as sons and daughters of God we will also be in danger of losing the greatest thing ever given to us, our relationship with God not only as God, but also as our Father.  God is good all the time and if God is not good all the time, He is not good at all. We must know the biblical truth about God and His relationship with humanity. We must understnd His love, His position, and the significance of the covenant He has made with us through Jesus as our Redeemer Who made a way for us to get back to God. God is Faithful. We can rely on His divine promises and live in the truth
