It has been said that Ireland will make a decision to not take part in the Eurovision next year, if Israel's participation goes ahead. In a statement RTE says it would be unconscionable for Ireland to take part, given the ongoing and appalling loss of life in Gaza. For more on this, Alan Morrissey was joined by Cynthia Ní Mhurchú, Fianna Fáil Ireland South MEP who also Co-Presented Eurovision in 1994.
