Jesus calls His followers to forgive each other when the offender repents. We should not cause or encourage each other to sin. Rather we should guard our own hearts and call each other to account when sin is committed. When one turns back to truth and asks for our forgiveness, it is our God-given privilege to release them and treat them as if they had never harmed us.
