After about 14 centuries, Muslims around the world continue to commemorate the martyrdom of Hussain ibn Ali (AS) in recognition of his sacrifice to preserve the sanctity of his grandfather's message (Islam). The story of Hussain (AS) is relevant today when people are revolting against their oppressive rulers.
