Emotionally Empowered

The panel will explore topics relating to the labeling of children born with issues related to drug addiction that are the directs effects of being born addicted, and or with drugs in their system. Perspectives coming from parents, educators, and those that were born addicted to drugs. We explore the idea that learning needs to be tailored to the needs of those children with a belief that there is no requirement for special education, as well as the idea that the learning process is different for these children, and adults that have been affected as well. We will discuss the ways in which situations may be handled in non-urban environments.
