Pastor Mike begins a series on the Holy Spirit by first talking about the Trinity and describing why it is so important to our Christian faith. As difficult as it is to understand, the Trinity is vital to our walk of faith in our salvation and how we pray. Learning how God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit loves, relates to and interacts with each other gives us a model of how we are to do the same with God and with people. We try our best to gain an understanding of how "God is one, yet three" without this being a contradictory statement, and then seeing how this sets Christianity apart from every other world religion. We describe the specific roles of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit in the process of our salvation and how we pray.
