It's the Passion week. Today is the Good Friday. On Sunday, we'll celebrate the Easter. But wait. Do you really? Do you really celebrate it? You know the whole 'rugged cross,' 'the stones rolled away,' etc. If you do, when have you start celebrating it? Can you remember the time, the place, the mood, ambiance, the smell, the touch; the whole scene? Sounds romantic, huh? And it should be. Passion of Christ is God's romance. Do you remember it like you remember your first kiss? The nervousness, the... I better stop. The point is this; if you celebrate the Easter, you must know when and how it all began for you. For example, this guy, a terrible, terrible person that he is, must remember it was when he beat his chest as he prayed "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!" for it was then he was justified. Jesus said so in Luke 18:13. Come and celebrate the Easter this Sunday. Let us remember, as that is the whole point, the time when we beat our chests and were justified.
