Prepared Failure (a.k.a. Breaking Bad)

Informações:

Sinopsis

Have you ever come to a time when you realize you have failed, things are gone bad, and you are at the end of the rope? It's devastating. It's terrible. It's heart-breaking. But you can't just sit and mourn. You've got to prepare for what comes after the failure. In Luke 16:1-13, Jesus continues His teaching which started in chapter 15. The parable Jesus presents here is the most confusing one of all. It's about a steward who's caught and about to get fired. But he's smart. So he prepares for what's to come (unemployment) and he does it so shrewdly, the master praises his cunningness while losing more money and being played by his former employee. This is a notoriously difficult parable to understand. But lucky for us, we have Hollywood to help us understand Jesus' parable - that's if you've ever watched Breaking Bad. If you haven't, do not despair. Come and join us this Sunday to find out.
