"You're ugly." "You're fat." "You will never measure up." These kinds of comments tend to stick with us and mess with our identity. When we don't know what God says about who we are and how valuable we are to Him, we try to find our identity in all kinds of places. We look for it in status, stuff and money. Some of us try to distract ourselves from our wounds instead all finding out who God really made us to be.
