Pastor Mike brings a question that is appropriate with the Holiday season ahead, talking about our appetite for food, are we hungry? This has much spiritual correlation in regards to our spiritual appetite, are we hungry for the things of God? How does one measure their appetite? Does our natural flesh man get hungry for spiritual food as it naturally does for a turkey on Thanksgiving? The answer is pretty obvious that it doesn't, therefore how do we prepare and protect a spiritual appetite when its not a natural one? We will see that it takes an intentional attitude and commitment to honor God and practice being in His presence and in His Word to keep the "junk food" of the world out.
