Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike is finishing the series on Paul's declaration in Philippians, "I want to know Christ". This week we are speaking on the mindset of being "Heavenly Minded". If we are going to be like Christ, we need to think like Christ, and Christ is seated in Heavenly places so that's where our mind needs to be focused. We are reminded that we are to place our treasures or the things that mean the most to us in Heaven and not on earth. When we're able to do that amazing things can begin to happen here on earth because that means we are putting God first and He promises to take care of all of our needs thereafter... This takes trust and perseverance but assuredly it'll be worth it in the end. One thing we know, if our treasure is in heaven, then every day we live through here on earth is one day closer to our treasure, that gives some immediate gratification while we are longing for what God has in store in Heaven.
