Understanding Christianity

Many people question the reality of evil and suffering in our world. On one hand, they argue that if God is good then He would lovingly want to stop all evil. Since evil exists, God must be immoral or not good. On the other hand, they argue that if God is sovereign He would powerfully stop all evil. Since evil exists, God must not be powerful enough. Dr. Sean Cole addresses these objections and gives some biblical reasons why God ordains evil and more importantly, how we can personally respond during times of difficulty.
