Understanding Christianity

In Luke 6:27-36, Jesus commands us to love our enemies, to do good to those who hate us, to bless those who curse us, and to pray for those who abuse us. This is an impossibllity when we think about the radical nature of this kind of love. How can we possibly do it? The answer lies in the character of the Most High God---He is merciful to the ungrateful and wicked. Because God first loved us, we can, in turn, love others. www.seancole.net
