Center Point Assembly

This is the first Sunday in the year 2021 - how quickly time is slipping by. Today we are focusing on the need to maintain a thirst and hunger for the things of God more in the days we're living in than ever before. The apostle Paul tells us how we are to do this by forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward the prize of what God has in store for us heavenward. The natural law of God is that everything that is living grows. Thirst and hunger are a sure sign that we are still alive and growing. But growth isn't always healthy, it must be nurtured and directed. The question we discuss today is, how often do we think about our spiritual growth? Do we prioritize it? Do we nurture it? There are many things in this life that would choke it out if we're not careful to guard and maintain our thirst and hunger for Godliness. That's the way we need to begin 2021.
