To be ignorant is to be unaware about a particular person, place, or thing. It is also used as a way to justify why a group of people acts a certain way or doesn’t understand a certain concept of life. Racism is a perfect example as to what is meant when you say ignorance is used to justify behavior and level of understanding. After recently watching 5 New York Times videos where the topic of conversation was race. It was interesting to watch because everybody had something authentic to say except white people.
