"Hall W. Rockefeller is an artists writer who holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in the history of art. She wrote her senior thesis at Yale on the folk art collection of Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, one of the three (female) founders of the Museum of Modern Art, and her Master’s dissertation at the Courtauld Institute on weaver and textile designer Anni Albers. This week Kimberly speaks with her about her initiatives "Less than Half," a website dedicated to the unsung heroines of the art world, and "50 Women," a series of written interviews with women who reside outside of the all consuming vortex of New York City’s art world.
