Jesus called his followers to be “salt and light” in this world. But what does that look like during the Christmas season? Is it possible, given the secularism and commercialism of the holiday, to use it to shine the light of truth? Or should the church stay as far as possible from this “pagan-based” holiday? Today we consider whether or not it is right and possible to “redeem” Christmas as a means of shining the light of Jesus in a dark world.
