Dave Beattie is a powerlifter who, at the age of 53, broke the cross-federation UK raw with wraps squat record across all age and weight classes with a squat of 380kg. Dave is the owner of the iconic Genesis Gym in London and was Andy Bolton's training partner during the years when he was pulling 1000lb deadlifts. He is also a former Marine and bodyguard.
