I have a few friends who hate their birthdays because they are only focused on the growing old aspect.  Me, I celebrate full tilt all year long because it validates another year of life! Life is short and we might want to grasp it with both hands, or not! This is just my perspective.  I believe that we are all unique and precious and bring something to this world.  And our birthdays are days to celebrate that.  Hopefully, with loved ones, family, friends, business associates.   Because if you don't care about your birthday you are denying your unique gift and purpose to this world.  I talk about birthdays today, because today just happens to be mine!  And I am celebrating!!! I want to say thank you to every single person that has sent me a card, a message, voice mail, Marco Polo or posted an emoji on FaceBook helping me celebrate.  I've received so many blessings and the words touch my heart.  This is what you deny yourself if you don't personally welcome your birthday. I'm not excited about getting older, 'c
