I have a Garmin vivosmart 4 activity tracker. But I refer to it as my Garmin Fitbit. You see, to me, it's a Garmin device that has Fitbit-type functionality. So, in that context, who has won the Battle of the Brands? Fitbit or Garmin? Most would say Garmin wins because ultimately it was their product that I bought. But to me, Fitbit actually has won the battle for that space in the mind of the consumer - me - for activity trackers. Because, even though I wear a Garmin device every day, I still think of it and even refer to it out loud as my Garmin Fitbit. And why is that?
