At times of economic crisis, like right now, many CEOs and Executive Teams take pay cuts. Why? For a small business, sure, executive pay cuts might mean the difference between the company's survival or not. But for the big companies, especially the big public companies, that's not the case. So then it must be just to show solidarity with the rest of the workforce who are being laid off, furloughed or terminated. But does the rest of the workforce really care?
