At a time of crisis like we're experiencing now with this COVID-19 outbreak, most people prefer not to travel. However, if like me, you still need travel, at the very least you need to be well aware of what's covered by your Travel Insurance Policy. For example, most insurance companies declared COVID-19 a 'known event' as on 31 January, 2020. So unless you had your insurance in place before that date, chances are you won't be covered.
