This is the 18th class on the book of Hebrews. This Bible class was taught at the Pilot Point Church in Pilot Point Texas. The following is the outline of the class. Only the Blood of Jesus The Son’s sacrifice is superior to the O.T. sacrifice Hebrews chapter 9:12-10:18 Hebrews 10 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. (NIV) For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. (NASB) In Isaiah 53, we have all the offerings listed in the work of Christ upon the cross: 1) Burnt Offering – Isaiah 53:11; cf. Leviticus 1 Giving self to God 2) Peace Offering – Isaiah 53:5; cf. Leviticus 3 Peace with God 3) Sin Offering – Isaiah 53:6,10-12; cf. Leviticus 4-5 Sinful nature, sins
