Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good morning, thanks for starting your Tuesday with Joe Mathieu, the Morning Edition team and GBH Radio. Well, we had high hopes that our social media streaming struggles would end this morning, alas, they continue on. Bear with us Facebook fans, we’ll get their new streaming system sorted out soon. Covid numbers across the country are spiking again, and the new director of the CDC is sounding the alarm for states to consider slowing down their rollback of a Covid restrictions. Amidst those fewer restrictions, the Celtics welcomed a limited number of fans back to the Boston Garden for the first time in over a year. And Joe would like to eliminate our use of the world ‘normal’ in newscasts and beyond. Thanks for waking up with us, and thanks for tuning in to GBH.
